Looks very nice but be aware of the size.

IMHO the merchandise wagon looks to small compared to the size of the engine.

Make a screenshot of battle, compare the locomotive and the cargo wagon, then compare my versions of the same vehicles. It will be on the same scale!

I love the Merchandise wagon!!!

The big comfy couches are especially great!

The toilet is quite big :D what are those furnitures in there? :)

I think I would have no problem working in this kind of waggon:
I would have my own office, a nice bed to sleep, separate rooms for leisure... :D
Ok I really need to hope hard that 'my train' is always winning the fights...

Also:

"Hey - I'm sitting very comfy in my couch! Go get some potatoe chips from above in the fridge, willya?"
"No way, I'll just go to the next waggon: the freezer. So I don't need to use the stairs. We have enough chips in the freezer..."

No, the toilette is just the right size. (Compare it with the chairs)
What are those furnitures in the bathroom? Your bathroom is empty? Only contains the Bathtub and or WC? nothing more?

For the the 1st floor left side rooms I did not have idea for what to put there. Well actually had some, like a generator room or heating room or something but I think enough electricity is generated by generators connected to the wheels like many modern passenger cars.

Yellow lines on floor are useful to where to put the cargo and crates. I've taken the idea from actual warehouses.

Just sayin'

Could be that the 2D view is causing confusing about this.

I meant the size of the room. Ok, if there is a washing machine in there...
Yes of course I do have more than a bathtub :-) .
You win!

Yes, the loco is quite round on the roof I guess.
But nice comparison nevertheless!

Ahh you thought about height! I thought about length! :)
2D view is not always accurate as the two kind of merchandise wagons shows as same size and while the Viking union locomotive and tender are acting as one vehicle, this isn't the case with Transarctica.

Second: look at the icons just below the battle screen, does the tender, command wagon, merchandise, barracks or tanker have the same height?
Third:
http://forums.sunlightsystems.de/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=573

But if you look closer I've thought about this issue and included ladders on the locomotive. I've not included them on the tender and on the merchandise tough...
They look a bit better this way.

And here is the XL Merchandise wagon:

It is as it looks like, an extended, longer variant of the regular general purpose cargo wagon.

Except for transporting plants this wagon didn't have any use, right?

I guess this is a bit of a leftover by the devs because I could imagine that they thought about food supply but didn't implemented it.
